The initial class-wide aim for all datasets/visualizations, consider how to make these datasets of historical material appealing, interesting and relevant to a modern, public audience – and audience who wouldn’t have the time or technology to read these collections in full.
All four of us landed in interest in the Edinburgh Boundaries dataset; photographs of the South Side of Edinburgh and English Ballads have gone into forming who we are today. The group naturally formed, and we decided each of us to find some examples that we thought are interesting.
